Our 200 year old cottage is situated on the West Coast of Ireland in County Clare, 13 kilometres from the Atlantic. It lies close to The Burren National Park. |

The cottage was completely renovated between 1990 and 1995 and transformed into a holiday home while still retaining its original charm and appearance. The cottage is approximately 8-10 kilometres from the nearest villages. Cork's Ferry Port is 170 kilometres away and Rosslare 250 kilometres. It is 50 kilometres to Shannon International Airport, 150 kilometres to Kerry airport (south) or Knock airport (north) and 275 kilometres to Dublin airport (3-hours drive).

The house is traditional in style with two bedrooms leading off from either end of the main living room. The cottage can easily accommodate six adults. All rooms are furnished and heated from a modern gas-supplied central heating system which also provides the hot water for the shower. If you prefer to heat the traditional way each bedroom has an open fireplace and there is a stove in the living room. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, washing machine and tumble dryer. It is accessable through a separate entrance. We request our guests not to smoke in the house. |
